Thursday September 11th | 10am - 12pm

Shiskine Hall, Torbeg

Free - No booking required

The first of a friendly, informal series of 'Playful Conversations through Practice' facilitated by Saffy and Claire (Clyde Bioregion Artists in Residence).

Along the lines of a creative lab, we will propose some experimental improvised tasks taking inspiration from archeological methods, that we can engage in together, or in small groups or individually.  We will offer a couple of simple movement practices as a way to commence, but people are welcome to take part in the way they feel most comfortable.

Artists and makers in all manner of art forms  including visual, sonic, performance and writing are most welcome.

Bring yourself, comfortable clothing that you can move in and any materials you might like to use.

For this session, can we ask that you each bring two stones that you can easily hold, one in each hand.

There will be time set aside for conversation over tea/coffee for the last half hour.

We look forward to meeting you through practice.

Supported by North Ayrshire Council, Creative Scotland, through the Culture Collective Fund Coordinated by Island Arts Coordinator Eòghann MacColl, partnering Drumadoon Estate and Archaeology Scotland.
